Blade Striker Walkthrough

Blade Striker puts you in the seat of an anti-terrorist helicopter in a series of missions. These kinds of helicopter games get pretty tedious, and this one is no exception. First off, the controls require some coordination; the aiming system isn't very gung-ho, and you have to be quite precise. I don't claim to be an expert, but I don't want to spend my helicopter games aiming carefully! In Blade Striker, you can shoot pretty much everything; your objective, villagers, enemies, etc. Though it warns you that you're shooting a "friendly target", you can effectively end your mission by shooting say, a supply crate. One of the most annoying things is the enemies. First off, they hurt. A lot. So, naturally, that means you should kill them off fast. If you played the first mission without reading the controls or instructions, your odds of success are very, very low.

The shrubbery acts like a second health bar to the terrorist enemies. If you see an enemy who's clearly behind some bushes, you cannot actually hurt him despite firing 300 bullets into him. Nope, that bush is "covering him". So destroying cover is an absolute must in this game, make sure you do that decided to shoot the terrorist itself.

The winch is one of the most important things to this helicopter game. It's the only way to complete certain missions (if not all) and to gain health. Health is in the form of little plus barrels throughout the mission. Luckily, all you have to do is leave your winch out, and have it hook onto a barrel to access the desperately needed liquid of life.
