Army Copter Instructions

Just like other helicopter games out there, Army Copter is played entirely with the mouse. Use the left, right, down, and up arrow keys for basic movement. On the other hand, to take out enemies, you need to press the space bar button once you are in position. Or better yet, since you have unlimited ammunition, just hold it down and watch as your helicopter rapidly fire missiles and all sorts of explosives. That's about it for the controls. Now let's check out the game.

Army Copter Walkthrough

If you are looking for a helicopter game you can play to kill time, set aside when you are done, and go back to without any hassle whatsoever, Army Copter is a game you should check out. The objective of the game couldn't get any simpler: you need to take out as many enemy units as possible until you reach the end of the level and face off with the boss. Beat the boss, get a score, and if it's HIGH enough, then you get to stamp your name on the leader's scoreboard.

As you will realize, there's only one level in the game. That said, this helicopter game doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of replay value, BUT you can always play the game again and again if you really want to make it to the top of the scoreboard or beat your personal score. Oh! And one more thing about the game having only one level, the difficulty ramps up VERY quickly!

When you enter the war zone in Army Copter, it will take only a couple of moments before you are "welcomed" by a long line of tanks firing heavy artillery on your way. And to make things even more challenging, there are A LOT of heavily armed enemy helicopters and aircraft who will try to take you out if the tanks don't get the job done. Some of them come from behind and fly faster than you do... and it won't take long for you to get toasted if you are not fast or good enough in dodging those missiles. YES, you can sustain a couple of shots - depending on how low you are on life and how destructive the missile is, BUT trust me, that life bar isn't going to last long.

HOWEVER, the nice thing about this helicopter game, however, is that you don't have to worry about losing the level. If you get blown up, you automatically re-spawn and will even have a barrier that will keep you invulnerable for quite some time. The cycle goes on until you finish the level and the game. The downside with respawning, however, is that it takes time... and the game screen keeps moving forward. That means you miss some of the enemies, preventing you from getting the HIGHEST score possible.

Aside from that, another downside with dying and respawning is that your weapon rolls back to its very basic form. You see, along the way, you will find crates carried by parachutes. You need to grab as many of these crates as possible as they make life a little bit easier for you. Some of the crates give you bombs to drop. Others give you a missile launcher with infinite ammunition. Some crates even give you a three-way firing machine gun, while some refresh your health. Bottom line, if you collect enough of these crates and power-ups, you will turn into a ruthless and unstoppable killer helicopter. The bad news is that, no matter how much crates you have collected, if you die, your weapon reverts back to the most primitive one.

Moving forward, as for the boss, if you reach that part, you shouldn't worry. It's very easy to deal with and you will get to see your score afterwards.
